This week we did some learning using Gods creation story.
We took our learning outside to our wonderful prayer garden and listened to the story of how God made the world. We learnt that he made the whole world in 6 days and then on the 7th day he patted himself on the back for his excellent mahi and took a well earnt rest.
Once we had listened to the story we spent time sketching Gods creations in our prayer garden and listened to lovely meditation music as we worked. We then took our sketched pictures back to class and coloured them in. We also wrote a story about Gods creations to go with our pictures and had some great discussion about how we are one of this creations as well.
